34,200+ people from 173 countries and 7,000+ finishers from 132 countries joined us for the 2025 edition! This year, we celebrated 20 years of partnership between the 5K@ADA and Novo Nordisk. The 5K@ADA Virtual Challenge brings together people across the globe and ADA attendees to emphasize the need for increased physical activity to help prevent diabetes and diabetes complications. This disease awareness activity provides participants with the opportunity to raise public awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle in preventing and controlling diabetes.
This year, the 5K@ADA Group Run to Drive Change will take place for all attendees of the 85th Scientific Sessions in Chicago, IL.
